Panthera

The project

The Pipistrel Panthera is a lightweight four-seater aircraft, designed by applying the latest design and construction techniques, plus 30 years of knowledge, experience and excellence in aircraft construction. Panthera’s organic curves are a product of optimisation through advanced computer tools developed in-house, where every detail is designed for minimum drag and maximum efficiency.

The Panthera made its first flight on April 4, 2012. The project team, led by CEO Ivo Boscarol, saw Gregor Veble, physical, aerodynamic and university professor, Tine Tomazic electrical engineer, Vid Plevnik, structural engineer. Max Pinucci and MBVision and took care of the interior design, the shape of the windows and the communication materials for the high-performance four-seat Panthera aircraft.

design is a choice

INTERIOR

The involvement of the MBVision team in the Panthera project represented a high-calibre design role. This project required the collaboration of various professionals, who contributed to the conception and analysis of the interior, starting with in-depth ergonomic studies and ending with the investigation of materials and shapes.

The harmonious integration of the exterior lines, from an engineering point of view, was achieved through a synergetic dialogue with the interior features. Every detail was carefully considered from the beginning of the process, from the stick and handle analysis to the details of the seats and cockpit. After years of effort, the result was a collaboration that resulted in one of the most refined designs in the global aviation landscape.

liveries

The team also paid attention to the design and drawing of the liveries. The lines of the decorations were designed to harmonise perfectly with the shapes of the aircraft, following its contours and continuing fluidly through the windows. This approach not only emphasises and streamlines the lines of the aircraft, but also creates a visual effect that has been carefully planned down to the last detail. The use of colours was designed to establish a visual dialogue with the materials and interior finishes, creating a visual and stylistic interconnection that gives the entire project a distinctive and coherent identity.

COMMUNICATION

Communication is a key element within the overall project. The team developed flyers and brochures aimed at enhancing the communicative impact of the project, enriching them with carefully crafted graphics. These graphics were designed not only to effectively communicate the salient aspects of the project, but also to create a harmonious visual synergy with the aircraft itself. This approach took into account the distinctive tone of voice of the manufacturer, Pipistrel, ensuring total consistency between promotional communication and brand identity.

THE STAND

During the holding of the prestigious international aircraft trade fair AERO in Friedrichshafen, the Panthera project was presented, for which MBVision took on the task of designing the graphics and organising the stand layout. This assignment required not only special care in the aesthetic design of the graphics, but also careful and strategic planning of the stand layout within the event, with the aim of maximising the visual impact and visibility of the project among exhibitors and visitors.
